Humber to Pennines

Four huge, international sites dominate the region: the Humber Estuary, the South Pennines and Thorne & Hatfield Moors (incorporating National Nature Reserves at the Humberhead Peatlands and Far Ings.).

There is an abundance of other protected sites and a wide range of initiatives, involving the countryside outside protected areas and Biodiversity.
